Jubilee Jones returned to her home town of Bowral to face an uncertain future. Alone with her thoughts, she decided to do some gardening.

While digging up some neglected rose bushes in her garden, Jubilee inadvertently digs up an old biscuit tin. Expecting to find animal bones inside, she instead finds twenty-four pieces of opulent jewellery. Jubilee knows she cannot keep them, but something compels her to discover who buried them and why. With the help of her cousin Meg, they set out on an adventure to uncover the truth.
